My name is Jordan Smith and I am the owner of Nurtured Health Coaching LLC. I am a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with a background in Exercise Science and Integrative Wellness.

I was born and raised in Virginia and now live close to the coast. The closer to the beach I am, the better! When I’m not working as a health coach, you can find me curled up on the couch with a good book, exploring the outdoors, or sitting on a beach chair and soaking in the sound of the waves. I love lifting weights, going for (very slow) runs, drinking vanilla lattes (decaf), and savoring dark chocolate.

As a health coach, I partner with clients to help them achieve their health-related goals. Think of making a health behavior change like going on a road trip. Together, we will talk about where you want to go, why you want to go there, and how you plan on getting there. You are the driver of the car (the one making the changes and ultimately choosing which direction you want to go), and I am there to help guide you along the way (and provide snacks). My roles as your health coach is to help you navigate the process of making changes to your lifestyle by eliciting the motivation within you through insightful questions, active listening, and mindful reflections. I provide a warm and friendly environment where you are free to discuss the incredible wins you experience along the way, and where we can talk through some of the roadblocks you may encounter as you make changes. My desire is to create a coaching environment that provides space for change, while also giving you room to enjoy the experience of making changes.

My approach to health coaching is full of compassion and empathy. Making a lasting change to your well-being is hard, and I am here to provide a supportive and encouraging environment. I like to add fun and joy to the change process to help you make lifestyle changes that will positively improve your health and well-being.
